These terms apply to the use of Staffroom at staffroom.team and in the Staffroom app. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your business.
The service
Staffroom provides AI-powered virtual staff ("staffers") that draft, answer, book and organise work for your business under your instructions and approval. Staffers are software, not people, and identify themselves as virtual assistants when asked or when acting toward third parties. You are responsible for reviewing and approving what they send on your behalf and for the accuracy of the company information you give them.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for activity under your account and for your team members you invite.
Phone lines and text messaging
When you take a phone number through Staffroom, you agree to use it only for communicating with your own customers and prospects who have contacted you or asked to be contacted, to honour opt-out requests, and not to send marketing without consent. Message and data rates may apply to your customers. Customers can reply STOP to stop receiving texts and HELP for help. You must comply with applicable telemarketing and messaging laws, including the TCPA and CTIA guidelines in the United States.
Acceptable use
Do not use Staffroom to send spam, to deceive, to collect personal data unlawfully, to provide regulated professional advice without a licence, or to interfere with the service.
Billing
Plans, add-ons and usage are billed monthly as shown on the Billing page. You can change or cancel your plan at any time; changes take effect at the next billing date unless stated otherwise.
Content and data
You own your business content. You grant us the rights needed to operate the service. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Staffroom available and accurate but provide it "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
